The help you didn't know existed.

Caring for an aging parent often means discovering — at the worst moments — that there is a program for that. A Medicaid waiver. A state respite grant. A volunteer transportation network. A condition-specific helpline. Caregiver's resource finder surfaces vetted help based on where you live and what you need.

Our standards

How we choose what's in the library.

We include resources that meet three tests. The library is small on purpose — every entry has been read, checked, and earned its place.

  1. Authoritative source.

Federal government, state government, established national nonprofit (501(c)(3) with at least 10 years of operation or peer recognition), or condition-specific medical association.

  2. Direct utility.

Each resource provides specific help — benefit, service, referral, hotline, directory — not just general information.

  3. Public and free to access.

We do not include paid services, lead-generation sites, or for-profit referral marketplaces.

Caregiver does not endorse, certify, or vouch for any individual provider or service listed. Always verify eligibility, current contact information, and program status directly with the source.
